Please see the “How to Play” and “Make Your Picks” sections for more details. A winner will be determined for each Tournament. At the conclusion of the Contest, which includes all four major golf tournaments, a Grand Prize winner will be determined based on the prize level criterion set forth in these Official Rules.

Eligibility: Contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and Canada (except for residents in the province of Quebec), age 18 or older at time of entry. Employees of GOLF Magazine (the “Sponsor”), Fannation.com, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, consultants, advertising and Contest agencies, and any other individual or company involved in the development or execution of the Contest, and members of their immediate families (parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses) and/or those living in the same households, whether or not related, are not eligible to play or win. All federal, state, local and provincial laws and regulations apply. Void in the province of Quebec and where prohibited by law.

Objective of Contest: The objective is to choose four golfers who will finish in the top 20 for each Tournament. You must select your four (4) golfers for each Tournament out of a pool of golfers provided by the Sponsor. This pool will include every player competing in the Tournament.

How to Play: To enter, visit http://majorschallenge.golf.com and follow all entry instructions to complete and submit the online registration. Upon registering, you will receive a free User ID. Once registered, a Contestant will be able to play and submit his/her picks. You cannot compete in this Contest without a valid User ID. You may only register once for the Contest. Limit one (1) entry per person per competition period, regardless if Contestant has more than one email address. If a Contestant submits more than one entry per competition period, the last entry received will be used and all other entries from that Contestant will be disqualified.

Make Your Picks: In each competition period, the full tournament field will be divided into four (4) groups (“Flights”) based on the players’ world rankings. These players will be listed by Flight at http://majorschallenge.golf.com. Contestant must select four (4) golfers from the field, and these golfers can be from any Flight. For instance, a contestant may select four (4) first-flight players, four (4) fourth-flight players, or a player from each flight. Contestant must also enter a prediction for the winning score, which will be used as a tiebreaker. Once the Contestant has selected 4 golfers and picked a winning score, the Contestant must click on “Save Picks” to submit the entry. To be eligible to win a Tournament Prize, your entry must be received during the applicable competition period. You will be able to make selections or change your selections up until 11:59 pm (ET) the night before the Tournament. After that time, your selections will be locked and cannot be changed.

Any entry that is incomplete, late, illegible or does not include a valid issued User ID will be disqualified. For purposes of these Official Rules, "receipt" of an entry occurs when Sponsor’s or its designated agent’s server records the entry information resulting from Contestant clicking the "Save Picks” entry button. Any automated computer receipt (such as one confirming delivery of entry) does not constitute proof of actual receipt by Sponsor. The Sponsor is not responsible for any internet problems or technical malfunction during the Contest Entry Period. All entries and requests become Sponsor’s property and will not be returned or acknowledged.

Scoring: Each Contestant will be awarded points for each correct golfer who finishes in the top 20 during an applicable competition period. Prior each Tournament, each golfer will be assigned to a Flight based on his World Ranking. Each finishing position in the top 20 will be assigned a point value, and Contestants will receive that point total if one of their selected players finishes in that position. That point total will then be multiplied by the player’s Flight number. For the Masters, first place is worth 200 points, second 190 points, third 180 points, and so on, with the 20th position worth 10 points. So, a first-flight player who finishes first will be awarded 200 points; a fourth-flight player who finishes first will be awarded 800 points (200 for first x 4 for the Flight). Players who are tied will receive the full point total for their position. In other words, if three players finish tied for second place, each golfer will receive 190 points, which would then be multiplied by the Flight number. A Contestant’s total score will be the sum of all the points awarded to his or her selected players. These Flights and point values will be listed at www.majorschallenge.golf.com before each Tournament. No points will be awarded if a Tournament is postponed or cancelled; or if the chosen golfer finishes below the 20th place or could not participate in the Tournament (for any reason).

Prize Level Criterion: One (1) Grand Prize Winner: Contestant who earns the most points during the entire Contest Entry Period will be declared the Grand Prize winner. There will be four (4) Tournament Prizes (a winner per Tournament): Contestant who earns the most points in each Tournament will be declared the Tournament Prize winner. In the event of a tie, the Tournament Prize winner will be determined via the tiebreaker question for that Tournament. The Contestant with the highest score who comes closest to picking the winning golfer’s score will be declared the Tournament Prize winner. In the event of a further tie, the Contestant who picked the highest number of top-20 golfers (regardless of rankings) in that Tournament will be declared the Tournament Prize winner. In the event of a tie for the Grand Prize, the winner will be determined based on tiebreaker rounds mentioned above. All winners are subject to verification by Sponsor and/or its judges.
